In regards to product safety and Covid-19.   

Message from Government of Canada on Prevention and Risk: Coronaviruses generally do not survive on surfaces after being contaminated. The risk of spread from products shipped over a period of days or weeks at room temperature is very low.

Who can I contact if I have questions about products, order status or returns and exchanges?

What should I do if I placed an order with an incorrect address, such as billing or mis-typed address?

Unforunately our orders have a 2-hour window with our fulfillment centres, if they are not cancelled within the 2-hour window they will be subject to fees in order to have your product re-shipped or cancelled. 

You will have the choice of; 

a) We refund you the order minus 25% of the order total, and you can place a new order online

b) We can invoice you a standard re-shipping fee minimum of $15.00 + applicable fees, this value can change and is based on your order total and address we are shipping to. Please see below chart to see estimate;

What can I do if I have trouble placing an order on-line?

If you have trouble placing an order on-line, try closing your web browser and placing the order again.  Sometimes a U.S. credit card company may reject payment because we are a Canadian company - please call your credit company and ask them to allow purchase from Vasanti Cosmetics.

What is your exchange and return policy?

We're happy to accept exchanges and returns within 30 days of receiving your purchase. Please email support@vasanticosmetics.com to start your return or exchange process. You may be requested to provide pictures of the product and original packaging, please do not discard prior to contacting us.

How will I know if my order has been received?

A screen will appear that confirms your order. In addition, an e-mail confirmation with an order number and brief summery will be sent to you.

What currency do you charge in?

CAD dollars.

Does Vasanti test on animals?

We do not test on animals. We test everything on ourselves and a panel of volunteers to ensure that our products are safe for even the most sensitive skins.  We are a cruelty-free brand!!

Are your products Vegan?

Yes, all our products are 100% Vegan.  You can find our full ingredient listings within the product page. 

Do you carry gluten-free products?

While we do carry several gluten-free products (information is in product description), we are not able to guarantee that our products are made in gluten-free facilities.

I have sensitive skin, how do I know your products will work for me?

We recommend that our customers always do a patch test when using any new product on their skin.  While we use high quality ingredients and do our best to avoid incorporating ingredients that are known allergens - all skin types are unique and not all products can work for everyone.  Please test out your new product for any sensitivity before starting regular use.  This is how you do a patch test:

Use a small amount of product (according to directions) on the inside of your elbow or behind your ear or small area of neck and wait 24 to 72 hours. If you have redness, swelling, itching, or burning, you have a sensitivity to the product and should discontinue use.  

Are Vasanti Face Base, Wonders of the World Concealer and Liquid Cover Up products oil-free and non-comedogenic? 

Yes. Our foundation and concealer products are both oil-free and non-comedogenic, they will not clog pores.

Do your products contain an SPF (Sun Protection Factor)?

While some of our products contain sunscreen ingredients we do not claim an SPF on any of our products.  We strive to maintain a natural look and feel and we feel that adding the necessary amount of sunscreen agents would compromise the look and feel of our formulations.  We recommend that everyone wear a separate sunscreen under their makeup of SPF 15+.

Is Vasanti a “natural” line? 

We incorporate natural ingredients into all of our products. Product safety is very important to us so our products do contain preservatives, which we believe are the best way to protect against microbial growth - both to protect consumers and to maintain product integrity.  

Are your products paraben free?

Even though the FDA believes that at the present time there is no reason for consumers to be concerned about the use of cosmetics containing parabens, we have seen an increased demand for paraben free products and as of 2015, all products shipped out of Vasanti's Canadian warehouse are paraben-free.

What is your stance on Mica?

As part of our values and principles, Vasanti Cosmetics Inc. is committed to being

socially responsible and have written documentation from our raw material suppliers and manufacturers declaring that child labor or forced labor is not used for mining of mica and subsequent manufacturing and procurement process in any way. We condemn the use of Child Labor and Forced Labor and are committed to only use ethically sourced mica.
